I have tremendous respect for Thunberg, but I’m worried about her future. After becoming internationally famous, she’ll have a hard time growing up to be a well-adjusted adult.

That’s a good point. She’s not some child actor reading from a script.
From her perspective her future is already fucked up thanks to all the adults in the room, so she probably doesn't care.
Well-adjusted meaning what, exactly?
Able to handle being in the spotlight constantly. Being happy with her life. Not feeling like she needs to live up to other people’s standards. That sort of thing.
Edit: oh, and I hope nobody takes advantage of her, either.
She's 20 years old. I think this is what she looks like as an adult.
