Turns out it's reddit admin making automod remove all lemmy links, not the r/melbourne mods
I'm definitely staying here.
I just watched the clip from LMG reporting that reddit is restoring accounts and comments for users who delete them. Starting to think the mods had the right idea of protesting.
I think we've got the right idea in moving to a new platform.
Ohhhh that's some top tier stupidity right there. And it will be frankly hilarious if they're dumb enough to do it to an EU citizen
I mean, that’s the tip of the iceberg of the rumours. But it’s enough to have me heading for the hills.
They're fucking up pretty goddamn badly with mods who are acting on user polls.
Something something landed gentry
Just checked to see if mine had been restored. It hasn't.
Time to troll reddit with motorhead references I think.
It's time to play the gaaame!
Christ, every little decision they've been making just makes me lose even more respect for them. Maybe all of this would've been avoided if they just offered a fair price for access to the APIs.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.
reddit admin at their anger phase now
