I thought today would be a lovely day to finally go in to town and have a wander around the NGV at Fed Square, I've been wanting to for months but haven't managed it.
I forgot that the the public holiday was for the GF parade. So many people on this train and I doubt I'll be able to get across from Flinders to Fed Square.
I have failed both as a Melburnian and a (fairly lapsed but once keen) Collingwood supporter.
Bracing myself for chaos. I might try to head up St Kilda Rd instead.
Ooh, apparently the parade goes somewhere different now, they all got off at Jolimont. Hope it goes well, good day for it.
