I wish for 0g in ships while in space. Would fix many issues and make it more of a sim

I wish you could turn it off but isn't the lore explanation the grav drive giving artificial gravity? Or did I Mendela effect something.

They need to make up they're mind on grav drive being law or mechanic as when I remove all power from grav I'm still feet on the ground

Arguably, the grav drive and the artificial gravity in the ships are two separate subsytems. You power the grav drive, that's just charging it to jump. The artifical gravity seems to persist for as long as the power plant isn't completely destroyed.

Mild spoilers. There's a few levels where it's zero g. Some random encounters where you raid a enemy ship, it's zero g and when you reach the captain's chair, you turn the gravity back on and all the doohickeys like pencils and mugs fall down in a really satisfying way.

I think that happens if you damage the grav drive before boarding but I'm not entirely sure.

I thought that one random spacestation where gravity turned on and off every 10 seconds was pretty interesting puzzle wise.

If you knock out someone's grav drive before boarding youll have 0g, I often aim for it lol
