I loved Slugabed's and Samuel Organ's collaborative project Peter Talisman. There's only one album out though and I don't know if they're going to make more. I've never heard music like that and so hasn't the Internet, because neither spotify, youtube or last fm is able to give me something similar to it.
I wonder if you'll enjoy Groundislava. Try "Creeper Shit" and "Young Lava"
it pains me to tell you that I don't enjoy lo-fi chiptune music ๐ but alas, I have to be truthful
Slugabed and Groundislava are in the same sphere (they remix each other). Sounds like it's not the wonky groove that appeals to you but the the acoustic experience. Maybe bibio might be your thing.
