Between Armored Core 6 and Balders Gate 3 there's even well made AAA games (Larian might still be considered AA but likely not after this.)

But I'll get back to Dave the Diver someday.

Heck Zelda TOTK is also pretty good.

We also had sonic frontiers and Super Mario Oddyssey.

Probably an unpopular opinion here but I just finished my first playthrough of starfield (which multiple playthroughs are part of the story), and it’s absolutely polished. I was genuinely surprised at the lack of standard Bethesda jank, especially because of their use of a super old engine they just keep improving. It’s by no means perfect, but neither are armored core or bg3. It’s a solid title with good shooting mechanics, a decent storyline, and it kept me playing through at launch to finish, which is very uncommon in today’s AAA landscape

Haha I was just about to recommend Dave the Diver. Such an amazing game.
