I ran the Wilne 10k. First proper run with my new Kinvara 14 shoes.
Did it in 53:17, not amazing in the grand scheme of things but I was really happy with it. 55 minute pace for the first 5k and then a negative split for the second 5k ๐
Overtook loads of people in the final lap which always feels great.
Ran a sub 20min parkrun. Haven't been under 20min is about 5 years, so I'm rather pleased.
Nice one! Never managed it myself, 21 something is my best effort. But then I've never really gone after it.
