And where are you from? And how old? Not "do you" but just if you know how.

I'm in the US, mid 30s and can (and do) drive a manual transmission.

That's how it is in Sweden. I learned on a manual specifically so I wouldn't be limited to automatics.

Same in Finland as well. I have both automatic and manual cars, newer ones are often automatic and it's a bit funny that more often people aren't famliar with automatic transmission and they need to be spesifically told to keep their left foot at the floor and not do anything with it.
