I have also found coke challenging to fully eliminate. I have cut back, but it's just so convenient and I am maybe a little habituated to it.

It's a soft drink.

It's not even something we're supposed to be drinking at all.

Is Canadian sovereignty really less valuable than consuming this? Do we even deserve sovereignty if that's the case?

I am only saying that Coke is something I have personally found to be extremely difficult to cut out.

I don't need the lecture.

Giving up one specific soft drink is a pretty small ask. Especially if the ask is "try to drink another cola if it's that important to you. Sorry if it seems preachy but I can't reconcile in my mind how that is a hard thing. I mean if it's your favorite thing in the entire world and it brings you true joy and happiness, then sure, maybe? But it HAS to be Coca Cola, absolutely nothing else could possibly do?

Pop doesn't play a huge role in my life, so maybe it's just not possible for me to put myself in your shoes. But I think we're proper fucked if that is anything resembling most Canadians' willingness to sacrifice anything.
