In terms of how they're spending them, yes. Trump is wasting weapons so as to deplete US arsenals, but also to create demand for new weapons. More money for those dealing arms.
In terms of what you want to defend against, you should consider their potential success rate to be far more than 2%.
And that's without needing to listen to the words of a lady from Texas who's emigrated to Russia and interviewed a retired academic.
The interview is with Ted Postol, a professor from MIT and a prominent expert on this field. The fact that he has to give interview on a youtube channel from a lady in Texas says more about the state of the oligarch owned media in the west than anything else.
The fact of the matter is that patriots do not work, and are unable to intercept missiles from Iran or Russia. That's why all the burger reich bases have been razed now in the Gulf. And the reich can't produce new missiles because it is unable to refine rare earths on its own or produce things like magnets needed for high tech weapons. Trump is the perfect symbol for this rotten nation.

He gave an interview to a YouTuber in Russia because he's retired and doesn't have much else to do.
Him being retired doesn't mean he's not an expert on the subject. The fact that you're trying to throw shade at his obvious deep knowledge of the subject is fucking hilarious. I just love how superficial libs are where they care far more about where an interview was given rather than its substance.
