There's a whole lot of other words in the article claiming that this "actually can lower ticket costs for some consumers!" and "AI will increase productivity!" but it's all bullshit. Every single person that's bee forced to work with AI already knows it doesn't do shit right, and their only example of offering a lower fare is to a "leisure traveler that might otherwise stay home." Oh, OK, so a rich asshole that travels for fun?

Here’s a “fun” semi-not relevant fact. Movie theaters were excluded from playing OT in the Fair Labor Act in the US.
They were able to lobby congress when it was drafted and said they couldn’t afford it. Most people who work there are part time and it’s fine, but assistant managers and other full-time non-salaried positions get screwed.
Source: I was an assistant manager at Regal Theaters in the mid-late 2000s. I did not get OT. I made something like $6/hr.
I mean at the same time, if it's possible that regular people who actually shop around are shown lower fares and business travelers paid for by the company are shown higher fares, I'm all for that sort of subsidization, as unlikely as it is to be the reality
It never works that way. People who shop around are shown the same fares as usual and the business are shown new higher fares... Then the businesses raise their costs for everything, since their expenses are higher. Eventually, it feels okay to raise the base level fares too.
