I have zero idea what I'm doing but I put together this workbench for $35 as a start!

It looks great, very tidy, very useful, I want to be encouraging.

I have a table with an OSB top and working there has given me serious splinters. I have not yet got a splinter that went up under my fingernail and turned into an ER visit. But it's very clear to me that such a thing is pretty likely. OSB is very good building material but it's not flesh-friendly.

I need to put some Masonite on top of it, or something. I haven't done that yet, I have lately been working with a flattened cardboard box or something similar between my hands and the OSB. As dicey a mess as it sounds.

Or give ita quick sand with an orbital to take off the edges and laquer it up
