I'm 38 and an American Cis-male. Nothing of what you said has ever been accurate for the groups of male friends or men I have spent time with.
That would be because I'm talking about our culture and you're talking about individuals that you personally know. Growing as a person can be learning how to handle critique of the world we live in without it seeming like a personal attack
One way I have grown as I've aged is that I realized it's rarely worth spending time on people who are casually condescending in their communication with strangers, so have a nice day.
You come off pretty fragile so I adjusted. Don't really know how you want people to engage with you other than just saying things you already agreed with since you were a teenager, but I'm pretty sure there's a space for that somewherew here
