I think its the context, if you have moths in your home, they're eating clothing or laying eggs in your food.
Moths are cool outside tho.
Heres a couple I saw in Vietnam:

The first guy looks like the clothes ate him back
He wasn't doing so well, the next morning he was dead.
I call this guy Jimothy Cricket

That looks a lot like some crazy bois I used to encounter in a family's bathrooms, specifically the downstairs. They'd come from the drains and get trapped in the baths/showers.Super long legs like yours:

Also rip ๐ beautiful moth. Moths have a bad reputation but there's so many beautiful species. Someone linked earlier a hummingbird moth which are incredible creatures
One place I lived was graced by them and as a child I was absolutely fascinated by the hummingbird moths. I'd try to "catch" them by doing a gentle scoop but they always evaded my hand. I'd also marvel at the amount of wind they created. I could feel the speed and power of their wings and it made me admire them so much
For anyone who doesn't know about moth reproduction cycles: the adult stage of many moth species lack mouths and functional digestive tracts. Their entire adult life lasts only a handful of days; long enough to find a mate, lay eggs, and then die. They are fascinating animals.
Holy shit those are so beautiful
Here if you have moths in your home it is mostly just because they were attracted to the lights and flew inside through an open window.
