My arch install is usually stable, the last issue I ran into was pretty recently, where it decided to build the initramfs without usb drivers, because I have a usb drive as my primary drive it then proceeded to be unable to boot due to that drive not being accessible.
Before that it was running without issues and semi-frequent updates for 1.5 years tho
im curious, why are you using a usb drive as primary?
Cause stupidly, it's faster
I got a nice nvme drive back when they were pretty cheap, but my mainboard only has a Sata m.2 slot, which I neglected to check cause I just thought m.2 is m.2 at the time, so I got an external case and put it on a 10G usb c Port instead
That sounds like asking for trouble
That sounds about typical for what I imagined.
Thanks for the reply,
right in the middle of my imagined bell curve of answers.
