Flock cameras are getting mobbed | CNN
(www.cnn.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
This article reminded me to check deflock.me where I found that in the last 90 days my city finally got a Flock camera. There's only one but I've been driving by the damn thing every day on my way to work without realizing it.
I'd like to know whose responsible for it; City, County, or State but regardless I now have a decision to make.
The decision of which reciprocating saw is the best value?
Thanks for this link, wasn't aware of it. I am now aware that my city and the surrounding cities are fucking flooded with them all over. 😐
Get ‘em while they’re hot!
One day, these things are going to be novelty items with a pretty neat history about surveillance capitalism and Americans efforts to fight back. Having one, by that point, will be pretty awesome.
Just one? Good reason to be a hoarder or collector.
I've heard sometimes they just put up the cameras and ask for permission from the city after.
Gee, just like companies putting murderbots... er, "autonomous cars" on the streets without any permitting to see what they could get away with - and suffered no consequences.
