That's kind of okay, isn't it? Sure not every woman is a sheet-steeler, but woman tend to be more cold than man and steeling the sheet when cold is more of an instict and less of an 'I hate my wife' vibe

Yeah, this is fine. Not every joke about relationship dynamics is problematic, unlike what communities like this might make you believe.

Please read and understand this community’s rules.

Relationship dynamics happen in relationships regardless of the genders of the participants.

This community is all about ways in which heteronormative toxicity excuses a bad relationship and frames it as “lol it’s a joke lmao, ALL relationships are like this hahaha”.

In this case, this post does not fall into “easily toxic” or “easily non-toxic” behavior; but “one person steals all the blankets” usually means “she steals all my blankets” in a heteronormative relationship, so i let this post slide in a gray area b/c it’s not explicitly gendered but the underlying complaint still tends to be “girls steal blankets” every time i’ve seen a meme like this.

(Plus, note the well-defined L-shaped-blanket metaphor in the bandages here. The bandages don’t cover one corpse’s upper body, but the other corpse is fully covered. This is a well-known tv/movie/irl trope, and replacing blankets with mummy wrapping doesn’t change that, and this meme falls in line with that stereotype, and with respect to “whose nipples are publicly accepted as normal, and whose nipples are for sex only and if a child sees one of their nipples that child is totally ruined as a person”)

I don't think gender is implied at all in this comic.

I'm the cold one and have learned to take an extra blanket to bed. My spouse, the warm one, gets to control the thermostat. I can always throw on an extra blanket, but when it's sweltering and all coverings are thrown aside, it's hard to sleep.

It can really pay off to have undersized blankets on the bed. (If a queen or King size bed, then twin sized blankets.) Then each person has their own. So long as the blanket count is not wildly different, the bedspread makes the bed look fine when the bed is made.

I went in the other direction and have a super king duvet for a king bed. Highly recommend going a size up.
