You kinda answered your own question. Pedo + disposable income + tech = the shit we’re going through rn
I mean nowadays you carry a computer on your person constantly. Your hands are touching a computer, your eyes are looking at a computer.
Computer glasses are seen as the next step.
I'm not confident it actually is, but I understand the why it's being tried.
