LTT owns a private jet.

Since Dec 2025, it has emitted 339.6 t CO₂ — 71x the average person's annual carbon footprint. Commercial would've been 7.1 t.

Honestly this doesnt add anything to a otherwise healthy discussion in this threat. This is a Linux focused community and not at all about the climate. So many other people own private jets.

Expanding upon your mix, Some say that Linux distros should or shouldn't comply with age verification. Should or shouldn't be libre and copy left. Should or shouldn't accept llm authored contributions. There is nothing wrong with talking about the politics of Linux.

The climate crisis and how it is made worse by a well-known figure in this field is definitely on topic.
