Also I dunno why I always get chills when I hear this obviously cheesy line. He sold it.
Easily one of the best movie speeches of all time. I remember seeing it in a theater in NYC when it was first released, and the entire auditorium went apeshit.
Also kinda wild that USA wants to share something with the world, as close to it as 4th of July.
What would the equivalent speech be today?
That speech and Al Pacino in Any given Sunday always gets me.
