MODERATORS
Same, daily or regular movement is rather important to manage or at least reduce the effect of hyperactivness.
Personally I've found resistance training to be rather effective at burning off extra energy. Cant be hyperactive if muscles and nervous system are annihilated.
I've noticed the same effect on my daughter(diagnosed pure ADHD). On the days there's more active movement, she falls asleep faster and it's easier to maintain focus on boring activities in comparison to days where there isn't much moving around.
Though what I've noticed over the years of cutting and bulking(calorie deficit and surplus). Hyperactivity goes into overdrive when bulking, increasing NEAT(non exercise activity thermogenesis), basically i cant sit still regardless of training or eat enough during work week to put on weight. Fridays weigh in is always around 0,5-1kg lower than Tuesdays weigh in.
