He'd already torn down the wall by that point, the fact Inproper Grammer is a quote of his is not surprising though. Tho I'm fairly sure I'm hearing teared in the recording.
What are you on about? His speech was two years before the wall was torn down. At any rate, making the statement that ‘Gorbachov tore down the wall’ doesn’t make any sense.
