Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Your link shows an incident of the IDF lying about knowing where Israeli hostages were held. I don't see how that refutes a single thing I said.
What false equivalency has been made?
In Ukraine it is illegal to put military infrastructure next to civilians. In Gaza military infrastructure is only put next to civilians. Where is the equivalency? Make a real argument.
Incorrect - my link shows that Israel lies about militant infrastructure being placed under civilian infrastructure.
Your false equivalency is on quite a few different levels but mostly trying to equate "military infrastructure" of a sovereign state with a standing army (and the available space of a whole country) defending against another invading state, versus one of the most densely populated places on earth (the size of Manhattan) that has been under siege since 2005 with a civilian population fighting back against a 80+ year long campaign of genocide, ethnic cleansing, displacement, and colonization as if that's supposed to even warrant similar rules of engagement (which it doesn't according to Geneva convention and international law btw) and that's assuming Israeli claims are true (which you have failed to provide proof of and merely stated as fact).
You then go on to blame the victims of a decades long genocide that this was the outcome that they wanted and planned? Gross.
But go on keyboard warrior...you know better and can definitely tell people fighting for their lives what they should do. I'm sure you've experienced similar situations.
This is just nutjob on steroids. Do y'all just believe anything as long as it is anti Israel? You really think Hamas tunnels are not under the civilian populations? You link obviously doesn't prove that. It proves (as far as that word goes for a single news article) that the IDF was caught lying on this specific occasion. Luckily Ukraine follows International Humanitarian Law unlike Israel and definitely unlike Hamas.
I never equivocated the Israeli actions and the Palestinian ones. I would say anyone arguing in good faith should agree that both sides have done bad things. The scale may be wildly different, but that doesn't magically make it okay. The axis powers did the most wrong in WWII, but internment of japanese civilians by allied powers is still not okay.
Not to mention Israel doesn't really make those kinds of translation mistakes. Most Israeli's are at least partially bilingual, and almost all signage/packaging/etc is written in hebrew and arabic. I would be extremely surprised if anyone who has lived in Israel for more than about a year didn't know the names of the week in arabic. Any more than someone living in Canada not knowing them in french. They may forget whick ones correspond to whick, but they should recognize that that is what they are.

Umm, yeah? I know this may come as a shock, but sometimes Bibi is less than truthful.
I know that any criticism of Hamas immediately brands me as some kind of Zionist shill, but I'm under no delusions about the fact that Bibi is a war criminal. I am surrounded by many extremely pro-Israel family members. The amount of times I've heard "technically its not really a genocide" and had to tell them that "technically I only committed manslaughter, not murder" isn't exactly a good thing is ridiculous.
For the record, I personally believe the Israeli government is probably committing a genocide, even by technical terms. But even if by technicality they aren't, I don't think that absolves their government at all. I just dont think that millions of people should be kicked out of their homes, on either side. Sadly that seems to be a largely minority opinion these days.
Only Bibi being less than truthful? Well it's a start. Good luck with your journey.
