Where are you hanging out that has you so bitter over gifs? Find a better community or friends.
On a related note why are you so bitter over people being annoyed by the enshittification of yet another small source of joy in this hell world?
Is this that sour grapes thing? Or do you have an issue with people using reaction gifs to convey a concept that's either too convoluted or requires too much context to type out?
For example, this entire comment could have just been;
I swear to god 90% of gif usage is for the worse
