Can even maximize gains by buying a used low end phone for the trade in and sell the old iPhone on eBay.
Did that once, with the refurbished thing, in less than 2yrs it fell apart in my hand. So I’m wary of it now.
To be fair, I’ve gone through 4, including the above mentioned refurbished, since that original iPhone back in 2008? 9? I forget.
It’s the apps. Even if your phone is fine, no noticeable functional issues, the apps will eventually stop working.
