Stop demanding that the perfect be the enemy of the good/progress.
Well, do it already. I'll join in when the shooting starts.
Revolution only happens when the ruling class refuses reform, so there's no situation where anyone would get to make this choice. The alternative to what Mamdani and similar democratic socialists are doing is militant labor activism (strikes and the like), not revolution. To be clear I think America (and the rest of the world) needs more militant labor activism, but that's a different issue; nobody gets to choose revolution in any meaningful sense.
