A few weeks ago we joined a yearly walk of a little more than 30km around a city (Ronse, Belgium), which has been done there for almost a thousand years and my family for at least 30.
I was saying this exact thing, people here must be more healthy on average right? Doing that distance yearly, preparing, but also giving motivation for other walks must have an impact region wide!
