Are they crazy? They don't use any of that to make byproducts? You can glue a few pieces to make new wood slabs for example - of course, usually one-piece things cost more, but it's a lot of material so it's just weird it is not used at all!

I think they make beds and sideboards and other big stuff, so these really are just tiny bits as far as what they're working with, I guess as the other comment says they can just write this stuff off as it'd cost more to retool to use it
