I work in health tech. Maybe new physicians will have issues, but most physicians I see don't even trust other physicians unless it's a different specialty. Most don't trust AI at all.
They will have to work with AI or the C-suite will decide it’s cheaper to have AI provide shitty health care than to pay doctors for good health care.
HCAP scores are a thing and trust me. C-suite cares about that. Additionally hospitals don't get reimbursed if a patient is a re-admit.
They care about that for now. That is because those scores mean more money flowing towards them. Not because they want to provide the best healthcare. If the flow of money changes because of AI, you will find that they don’t actually care about the scores themselves.
AI companies are also actively looking for ways to replace doctors, especially radiologists.
