I guess it depends on how much you trust your government. Or trust that a bad actor wouldn't cut off your finger or gouge out your eyeball. Imho, governments are the biggest threat.
yeah I'm sure if they want in desperate enough they'll go to those lengths...but I want some standard features. For the app to give me a little bit of the illusion of privacy and security

Lol. I'm not sure, probably a long password. But if we're honest, all security are illusion.
That's all I'm asking is if it's possible to give me that illusion so I think I can. Keep others out of my app.... That's it!..
