I'm an American and walk 10km almost every day here in Chicago. The American mind definitely comprehends this.
I don't believe you. You would rather die than use ~~metric~~ communist units.
I'd rather use metric units than die but they aren't all that. Ten fingers is an accident of biology and basing our units on that number is insane.
You might be confusing it with the decimal system
I'm an American in the deep South. Most of our roads don't have sidewalks. Unless I make an effort, and walk in the road, I could easily have under 2000 steps a day. 😐
That's a lot of walking to reach a bus stop!
