How is it not a real problem if women are being sexist? I am not claiming that all women are, and I am not claiming that every woman in said community is, but there is some form and amount of sexism present and I think this is an issue.

I like it that when someone on the Fediverse post sexist shit against women in the of "women bad" it almost always gets called out, this is great. The same thing should happen on posts about "men bad" (again, I am not claiming it does not happen currently, hard to judge because such posts are seen much less frequent).

What I would have liked to see in this thread is: "hey, there are some people in this community posting sexist shit, this is not okay.", the same way you would see in a discussion about an incel forum (again, here for clarification, I am not claiming that womensstuff is a femcel forum). What i see tough in this thread is that sexism against men is not called out similarly as sexism against women.

Also the sexist shit on the fediverse is NOT uniformly called out, not in the slightest.

You’re taking OP at face value that the community is misandrist. I’m telling you it’s not.

Wouldn’t want to believe someone who actually belongs to that community though /s

The places that I follow do mostly called it out, your experience may differ, and I hope it improves further.

I can't judge about the community since I do not participate, and I am also not taking OPs claims at face value, I never said that.

Example: This post calls out for sexism, I think this is not ok, in both directions.

I am not claiming that there is a problem with the community, I am saying it is a problem when sexism is not called out.

Your image didn’t load correctly, so I can’t comment on it.

I’m not going to debate whether individuals have said sexist things or not. What I’m stating is that OP has lied and misrepresented what womensstuff is actually about and I’m not going to entertain conversations based on those lies.

It’s not a real problem in that community
