i don't get it. why would anyone not pay close attention in physics class?
Because if they did their attention would drift off in a random direction.
Sometimes its too easy?
In High School, a group of friends and I played Euchre in class. With cards. Often sitting up front.
Also I love physics. Most of my Engineering degree was learning about different types of Physics.
