That's something I've been noticing a lot more.
Sure, I do want SOME shaping due to not having a "feminine" body shape (lol at calling it that given the topic) yet, but holy shit it gets insulting, 99% of women don't need any form of "assistance" to look beautiful, but here they are using every way they can think of to make you feel like you NEED this.
The only thing I want shaped is a little fold on my stomach due to losing too much weight that still hasn't gone away fully, and I like a little hip padding since my real hips are basically a flat wall. And my stomach issues can be fixed with a mildly snug undershirt, so I don't even need shapewear above my hips.
You don't need "tummy control", you need a less shitty ad-focused world.
