We've been closely following the conversation surrounding 4.8's upcoming wipe and wanted to give you an updated heads-up regarding what to expect.
Alpha 4.8 will include a comprehensive wipe. This means earned aUEC, in-game purchased vehicles, items, resources, reputation progression, and Wikelo and Executive Hangar rewards will all be reset with the launch of Alpha 4.8.

• Any item or vehicle entitled to your account and visible in the "My Hangar" section of the RSI websiteAs previously mentioned, this reset is an important step toward stabilizing the economy as new systems continue coming online. Alongside the wipe, we’ve also implemented additional safeguards aimed at reducing exploits and duplication issues, with more improvements to come.

I figured rep was safe since they want people testing the new strike groups. I wonder how long it will take for a big enough group to gain the rep it takes to run.
Rep gains are split evenly among all members of a group. Having a larger group doesn't necessarily mean that you'll gain rep faster. It can help in cases where the missions have you go after multiple targets at different planets, or if you can finish off missions faster with 2+ players than what could be done individually.
