You're saying being influenced by private influence groups is what allows republicans to use power to do things? This doesn't track.

Of course… if republicans want to cut taxes for the rich then special interest groups will run propaganda to convince voters to support it.

If republicans want to run an oil pipeline through our water supply then special interests groups will bribe and manipulate the right people to make it happen. Going so far as to ignore science and convince their voters climate change isn’t real.

What?

No one is telling leftists to “shut the fuck up” and vote for dems.

What is actually happening is leftists are demanding their way or the highway and voters are pointing out the fact that leftists aren’t popular enough to win nationwide elections and not voting will just cause the government to move right.

Since most leftists don’t actually care about winning elections as much as complaining about dems, leftist choose to let the government slide further right.

In a democracy the majority decides. And when that happens leftist complain they’re being told to “shut the fuck up”.

You know what's really easy to get voters to support? Policy that helps them and isn't bogged down with complicated means-testing, tax credits, and other shit that ultimately amounts to "This policy isn't for you".

No one is telling leftists to “shut the fuck up” and vote for dems.

Blue maga spent every day since October of 2023 doing this shit. Hell even in the run up to 2016 "Hey, running on popular policy is more electable than whatever the fuck this is"

In a democracy the majority decides

We don't have a democracy then, since the majority do not want genocide. Yet the dems preferred losing to not aiding genocide.

Explain that to the majority of voters that call this socialism and believes something like this would be taken advantage of by freeloading lazy people. They are the ones leftists need to convince. Not me.

And until leftist change the minds of those voters, they are severely outnumbered and any policy they try will be dead on arrival like the Green New Deal.

Blue MAGA is a made up boogie man used by bad actors to divide democrats and leftists. It’s the leftist equivalent of Antifa.

Gee I wonder who would benefit from a tactic like this that we’ve seen used by the GOP.

We don't have a democracy then, since the majority do not want genocide. Yet the dems preferred losing to not aiding genocide.

The voters chose “genocide”. You don’t speak for the majority of voters. Harris lost because of everything from foreign influence to billionaire class buying votes because Harris campaigned on taxing them.

Just because the majority of voters disagree with you doesn’t mean it is ok to become a dictatorship that bows to your command.
