This isn't just an article.

The internet was built to share information, not to farm views. A huge network of computers doesn't exactly look like a farm.

But when petty, slop machines were allowed into the network, something unexpected happened.

· Is capitalism bad? Fediverse users say yes.
· What to do if you can't poop for three days.
· Got enough memes? Follow our recommendations to get even more.

Instead of adapting to the internet, they changed it—quickly. And what internet users saw next began to change how the network was understood.


I bloody hate those slop farms. Just threw the site into uBlock Origin.
