Possibly it's the lack of context making it unclear, but that doesn't seem to disagree with what the comment in OP was saying. You can be unstable because of outside influences and still not have a group with a reasonable claim to be the "rightful" rulers of an area. This is as true for Israeli claims as it is to Shaist claims or the dominion of Mecca by the House of Saud. It's a region that has had constantly shifting (if not outright nomadic) populations for as long as humans have existed - nobody owns it. That's why dividing it up into little designated parcels where all the different groups could go and live in peace like a miniature Europe was such a fucking failure from the start.
The context would be everything here. If the OP is claiming internal struggle between various populations of people in the area have caused the issues of the middle east, he would be wrong. If OP is discussing the consistent attacks and interference by colonial, imperialist, globalist, capitalist powers from all corners of the earth because of the intrinsic value of exploitable resources of the area, they're right. Same with Africa.
The entire middle east is not a series of nomadic people, nomads are sub populations at best, they're are plenty of stationary groups that have lived in a specific area and have built nations based on those links. The biggest issue the middle east has is the value of the shit under the ground to the west.
The comment allude that the middle east is less civilized then the rest. That they can't seem to live in peace when it is no different then other region with period of peace , periods of peace and period of wars. It is very racist.
The right to land are for individual of any religious and ethrnic group that have their most recent ancestors living peacefully in the land. So it was the christisns, jewish and muslim Pslestinians, not the europeen zionists
