There's a parallel here with that saying about how unions are the alternative to the workers burning down the factory owner's house. And that's before we get into the non-financial evils you mentioned.
I’m in a construction union and the truth about the construction unions are they are mostly republicans and they are run like white supremisist gangs. I believe in unions but I’ve seen some horrible stuff in one.
