While on one hand I sort of understand the need to focus on features that are relevant to the majority, you can't remove features from your devices. Even letting people permanently shut down updates to stay on the last version that supports these features (and having a permanently accessible rollback, if not an the ability to officially load your own firmware) is must.

Anything less than that is basically crime.
