There are special barefoot paths were l live that have segments prepared to experience many often strange underground types.
From cork over all kind of stones, sand, mud, pinecones to really mind-screwing stuff like broken glass (specially prepared to not cut).
But they are usually less than a km in length.
Walking multi day trails is a whole other story...
