I hate that the AI assholes have begun branding everything AGI now. LLMs are not AGI, LLMs are never going to be AGI. Maybe some day a part of an AGI system is LLM like, but without the rest of the machine that does not exist, that's basically meaningless.
And the press just eats it up and throws it out there. No critical note at all. Just let the tech bros spout nonsense and the general people be uninformed. Fuck those guys, they should be in jail for blatently lying all the time just to pump their stocks.
Just like how every script with an IF statement is now AI. These words are becoming meaningless
