This was from October of last year. I was headed out to a nature preserve a few miles out of town and there is this nice spot overlooking the bay. The water had receded a few feet creating these low spots. My boy was out there showing his moves like a dancing queen. He had a great style.

Thank you for going through the effort, I appreciate it. They sorta do the stanky leg. Too cool. Supposedly herons do this too. I've only ever seen them use their beaks to agitate the water for fish.

Never mind the crow bros, here’s the gullfriends.

Herring gulls live for 12 years, mate for life, and are intelligent social birds. This is a place to appreciate positive interactions with the little skwarkers. They are on the red endangered list in the UK and a protected species, so let’s all be nice to them.
