Looks like a still from the 2004 film “A Very Long Engagement”.
This character was known for smuggling seemingly impossible things into the trenches of WWI.
Highly recommend this French film to those curious. Thanks for reminding me if it.
I can't confirm original provenance, but I checked before posting and found this image posted as far back as 2017, so I think it's safe.
I remember seeing this picture long before AI was a thing
