Some of you may want to spread these around. I don't know if this sort of post is allowed. Moderators do what you think is appropriate.

First some context... I don't want to be too prescriptive on what is or is not allowed on various communities here on AZ. I'd like them (communities) to find their own voice and audience, and self-determine what is acceptable... within the confines of the global AZ rules.

Having said that... due to the nature of it, this specific community could probably do with some guard rails.... but more importantly, an active moderator to advance the development of the community itself. To that end I've made Gorgritch_Umie_Killa a moderator, will remove the two idle ones shortly.

My advice.. moderation should remain as neutral and unbiased as possible. Allowable content from one political viewpoint, must be allowed from others. ie links to stickers from Getup being allowed means a similar link for HON promotional should also be allowed.

As for AI generated content, personally I don't want to view/read it at all. Not sure exactly how to manage it across AZ, this will need further discussion and thought. I'd like to ban it outright, but that doesn't seem feasible. Some sort of mandatory tagging in thread titles perhaps...

Mandatory tagging seems a good minimum first step requirement for anybody posting AI articles. Could probably fit under the interpretation of Rule 3 - Be Respectful. Its probably not very respectful to others to intentionally disguise AI use.

So i'm swinging to this being political advertising. Maybe if it was just the picture of the sticker itself there are other foreseeable reasons to have that as a post. But it is the link to get the free stickers. They are obviously part of the getup promotional campaign.

Maybe this post could be left up, and locked, possibly with a moderator explanation tagged, and referred to and linked in the sidebar. The post could act as a case example where the Rule 5 no ads/spamming line was crossed. Might be a useful indicator in future.

If I'm overdoing the posts with my particular point of view, I am happy to be told and I'll post less. I just find there's so much that's interesting and relevant to share and people in this community are generally thoughtful so sharing is really attractive.

I don't remember seeing anything of yours reported, and from a quick skim I don't see any issues with your posts.
