Curious to know if there are other women who have chosen to not shave!

Why did you decide to forgo the razor and how do you feel about it now?

I’ve always been a bit anti-establishment and don’t ascribe to many society held standards for women. But I still shaved most of my body hair from the time I was a teenager until a couple of years ago. The journey through deciding to not shave and then going out into the world hairy really surprised me - I felt a freedom that I wasn’t expecting to feel so relieving. Empowering.

So I’m curious - what’s your shaving or not shaving journey?

I dropped shaving my legs after highschool. I'm not that hairy so its a piontless chore, I do still feel the need to shave the armpits if I'm wearing something sleeveless. (Which is rare) Even more so on the ocation I wear a formal-ish dress.

I wish It didn't matter to me but it inevitably draws the kind of attention that I loathe.

I thought I would get more looks or negative attention for not shaving, but I've been pleasantly surprised! This could be pretty location dependent since I live somewhere rather progressive. Totally understand wanting to limit any reactions related to that though. Women's bodies are still quite the open subject for people to comment on unfortunately.
