No judgment here either :)
Yes the itchiness!! My skin is so sensitive and I would get “strawberry” legs after shaving which I never liked. If permanent hair removal was more advanced or worked better with my thick hair, I probably would have done so years ago.
I recently went on a beach vacation without shaving and my goodness, it was so much better for my skin to leave the hair!
Depends on your skin tone, but if you have lighter skin and darker hair, the contrast is what you need, then laser and IPL work especially well on thicker hair. It's not a one and done kind of thing, though, especially if you have really resilient hair, like me, lol.
That's why I got a cheap IPL gun to do maintenance. But on my legs, which had the thickest, darkest hair besides pubes, that cheapo gun has worked great. I get the occasional straggler or small group of hair that I zap with the gun and it's gone. But all of that hair is also really thin now when it comes back.
Great advice! If I was younger, I would totally try it. Must be really nice to just take care of it every once in a while and be so smooth! I do miss that sensation of getting into bed with freshly smooth legs haha
Now that I’ve grown out my body hair, I don’t know if I could ever go back to hair removal tbh.
