Lemmy Sync doesn't seem to work with Piefed though. I'm still sad.
What I would really like is the opposite of a porn or nsfw filter. I want a filter so I can see only nsfw posts. Do any apps have this?
Yeah I spent so long going through and blocking every non porn community on my lemmynsfw account and now I'm gonna have to do it all again...
Lol, I did the same thing. It's one of the reasons I haven't been to enthusiastic about FediNSFW.
Lemmy Sync will probably stop working when Lemmy 1.0 is released. It hasn't had any updates for a long time.
I hadn't paid attention, but yeah I guess you're right. I'll have to start trying out other apps. Any suggestions?
Personally I use Voyager, a few teaks and it looks similar to Sync, but it's perhaps missing that 1% of polish that Sync has. Overall I'm happy with it though.
Might also be worth checking out Lemmy Apps which could help you narrow down your choices!
I'm trying out Voyager right now. It seems to be missing the swipe navigation that I used a lot in Sync.
Connect is an amazing app, made by my a very responsive dev from Canada. There's no ads and it's frequently updated, I raised a couple issues in the app community and they were fixed immediately, and it's super customizable. I tried most of the Lemmy apps and it's my favourite by far, oh and it also has swipe gestures that you can customize.
Connect seems like a perfect Sync replacement, but it also seems to not support piefed.
Yes it does, I'm using it ATM for both Lemmy and piefed accounts.
Yeah, it's weird. I saw that the description says it supports both, but logging into to FediNSFW did not work at all for me.
Don't use your email to login, use your username(or maybe it was vice versa, I can't remember). It works for me, maybe double check your password too.
Even trying guest didn't work. I'll try my email though.
Edit: That didn't work. I know the password works, I tried it in the browser to double check and I'm using a password manager.
Eternity has such a feature, "Only NSFW" is it called in the filter menu. Works okay-ish as in that it takes some time to load (I assume it has to load the whole feed and then locally filter out SFW posts)

Been using it since i created my account, without issues.

Edit: okay I forgot entirely how this works (it's a search filter, not a user profile one), but that post explains it regardless.
That's so close. If that could be done for the profile that would be perfect.
Put a feature request into the codeberg? The devs are extremely responsive, and as you say it's so close, it might be an easy add.

That helps, but there is definitely nsfw content that isn't on just the one instance.
Boost for reddit used to let you go to a random nsfw subreddit. That feature has not appeared in boost for lemmy unfortunately
That was a feature of reddit. Just like r/random, you could do r/randnsfw. I enjoyed that feature. Looks like they got rid of that feature.
