Because the dev prioritized other features?
Like "ridiculously small default fonts"?
Have you considered that you don't have to use it? Might be hard, I know. If you like something else more, that may be the way to go for you, rather than being needlessly annoying about it.
Just wanted to see what the hype was about and came here to ask questions about things I would like to understand.
