There are fewer instances afaik, so the chance of finding more permissive ones is much lower. If you can, I'd suggest to self-host a compatible instance.

Not ideal, but what I do is to set an account on some Mastodon service and follow @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy there. Also maybe I should investigate Wafrn, since apparently they have AT Protocol compatibility natively.
